To my Father

Welcome readers. This is a very special episode of the Spencer Monologues, which is dedicated to my father Phineas Babbit. His dream survives with me. Most of this episode was shot by my friend and fellow artist Hans Delbruck. A Seattle indie filmmaker I'm collaborating with. More on him in the next epsiode.

The Spencer Monologues

Hello. My name is Spencer Babbitt. I have lived in Humptulips, Washington my whole life. And now, at age 23, I have decided to move to Seattle to pursue my dream of becoming a poet. I know the life of an artist can be difficult, but I am determined. As I write this, I can't help but think of the J word. A word I use sparingly in my poetry because of it's significance to the body, soul, and spirit. That word is Journey. And I'm on one. Come with me on this Journey. I will blog about my experiences, but I will also publish some poetry and hopefully change lives in the process, starting with Mister Me. At present, I am wrapping up my affairs here in Humptulips where I am a Chicken Sexer. If you don't know what that is then click here. ..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_sexing

Until then,

Spencer Babbitt
